Copyright Policy

1. Content you upload

You keep ownership of everything you upload: job site photographs, before and after images, brand assets, imported invoices and estimates, customer records, and written material. VERA takes no ownership interest in them.

You are responsible for having the rights to upload them. That includes photographs taken by a contractor or employee whose contract does not assign copyright to you, stock imagery whose license does not cover the use you are making, logos belonging to manufacturers or franchisors, and images of customer property where your customer's permission is needed.

2. Content VERA generates

As between you and VERA, the text and images VERA generates from your inputs are yours to use for your business. VERA does not claim ownership of them and does not license them to other customers.

Copyright protection for purely AI-generated material is limited or unavailable in many jurisdictions, including the United States, where human authorship is required. VERA cannot tell you whether a particular output is protectable, and does not warrant that any output is original or free of third-party rights.

Generated images may combine an AI-generated background with a deterministic text and logo overlay drawn by VERA. The overlay is composed from your own brand assets and copy.

3. VERA's own content

The Service's software, interface, documentation, templates, and marketing copy are owned by VERA. Your subscription licenses you to use the product, not to copy its content into a competing offering.

Templates and preset content supplied inside VERA may be used freely in your own business documents. They may not be repackaged and distributed as a template product.

4. Respecting other people's copyright

Do not use VERA to reproduce substantial parts of someone else's copyrighted work, to strip attribution or watermarks, or to generate a deliberate imitation of a specific artist's or photographer's protected work for commercial use.

Repeat infringement is grounds for termination under the Terms of Service. VERA maintains a repeat infringer policy as described in the DMCA Policy.

5. If you believe your work has been infringed

Send a notice as described in the DMCA Policy. It is the fastest route, and it is the process VERA operates against.
